Penny Wegman, President of the Kane County Regional School Board is seeking your support for her run at Elgin Township Assessor. As the voters have spoken in the recent election, they believe it is time for change. As property owners in Elgin Township, you pay the highest taxes in Kane County. Penny has fresh new ideas for this office, and this is what is needed.
Penny has lived in Elgin Township since 1980. She graduated from Elgin High School, attended Elgin Community College and received a BA from Southwest Missouri in Springfield, Missouri.
As one of the statutory requirements for seeking this office, Penny has earned certification from the Illinois Department of Revenue. Penny has been in the business of customer service throughout her career and will ensure that anyone who contacts the Elgin Assessor's Office is treated with courtesy and professionalism.
